Improperly annealed 2022 D nickel?

Just went through about 30 Loomis rolls of brand new blast white 2022 D nickels.
This one was different.
Nice white edges too.

Seems to very much match the look of the 2005 D shown the bottom of this page https://www.error-ref.com/improper-annealing/

Had to do a little adjusting for the first two photos to show what it actually looks like.
Your opinions please. Greatly appreciated as usual...

    Either staining or environmental toning.

    I think it may be a wrong planchet and a clip to boot.

    Yes, it does look like the 2005 Nickel in the link but I'm not sure how you tell the difference between staining and this type of improperly annealed error. I didn't realize that this error could look just like staining, perhaps caused by an incomplete planchet washing during the preparation.

    Collector and dealer in obsolete currency. Always buying all obsolete bank notes and scrip.

    That’s a nickel planchet. And the “clip” just appears to be a shadow.
