Planchet Flaws on Early Dollars

One thing that irritates me is that typically Flowing Hair and Bust silver dollars with planchet flaws (even indicated on the tags) are given Details non-grades. My perspective is that they are As Minted and should rather be straight-graded and in Error holders.
Is there a reasonable contrary opinion I should consider? Is it worth the time to bring them to PCGS to see if they can just simply be graded as errors?

I don’t see a planchet flaw as any different than a planchet damaged by adjustment marks before striking. Both should be given a straight grade. But I don’t mind if the tpg wants to note them on the slab.
I don’t think they should be graded as errors.
I agree they should be straight-graded, of course. I am indifferent regarding calling them errors or not. They are erroneous from production, but in preparation rather than striking (which is usually associated with errors).
