Wheat pennies

Found 2 old wheat pennies in my collection, a 1949D with the 1 at an angle not straight up and down like all the others.
The other one is a 1944 with what looks like zinc coating on both sides like it was stamped like that but no coating on round edge it is copper. Can anyone tell me or let me know if they might have value. I tried looking them up and googling but no help.

Howdy and welcome.
The short answer is that a couple of in focus, clear shots of the coins in question that show the overall coin as well as the parts you have questions about will do wonders for folks to help. Regardless, with what you have already shared, the 1949-D sounds like it has PMD (post-mint damage). PMD would be something like getting whacked and having the 1 appear to be on an angle. This is fairly commonly found on Wheat cents. As for the 1944, images would help. Even if they aren't valuable, they are cool to find.

There is a 99.999% chance that they are simply damaged and not worth more than face value, however in the future please include photos of both sides of the coin. Welcome to the forum![:) :)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)

Crimping machine...
Oh, sorry, you said the 1, not the last digit, the 9. These crimps happen on the last digit, as shown.
