Huge Shoutout to Phil at PCGS’s Photo Department

Phil @PCGSPhoto has been a huge help to me recently with a few research things and recently reached out to personally shoot a few of my coins that I had sent to PCGS to make sure they were done right. Those images were simply perfect.

Not many people that I have met have been as helpful or understanding as Phil and his work has made a huge impact on the numismatic community. Nearly every research project or question can be answered by Phil’s great images.

I wanted to send Phil a huge “Thank you!” from me and the countless other members here that he’s helped. I doubt he gets as much credit and thanks for his work that he deserves, so hopefully he sees this and know how much we appreciate him.

I completely agree with you- @PCGSPhoto (Phil) has helped me on several issues in the past and not only provides an exceptional product (our beloved TrueViews) but also actually answers you and tries his best to help!

To jump on the bandwagon, I recently sent in my top 5 most expensive coins to be imaged and he graciously took fantastic pictures himself. Additionally, earlier this week i had a new TV post that was not quite as representative as the old TV and he quickly and easily helped me switch the cert back to the old TV.

Fantastic photographer and resource, really appreciate him being around! Thanks Phil!!!
