Verdigris on silver Ike reverse
I guess that's what this is on the reverse, kinda green looking.
What is the best solution to remove, acetone?

The green may be from PVC. If so, acetone should remove it.
The black spots are probably tarnish. A dip in e-Z-est or Jewel Luster should remove it.I always had good success with 50/50 mix of distilled water/E-Zest, followed by a rinse in distilled water followed by a quick dip in acetone. Pat dry with a soft towel.

It almost looks like some type of burn mark. Is it your coin? Can you get closer pictures?

Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

Never mind. I'll get closer pictures for you. Whatever it is, it looks like it's baked into the surface from here.

Yes, my coin but can't take more pics at work now, I'll post more later.
The black could be from the black Capital (looking) holder it came in with 5 pieces. Anyway, I'm replacing and/or cleaning some for a nice lil .99 cent auction. Aside from the 71 the grades will be at least 67 on each.
If you do any type of homemade conservation, post the results here when you're done.

Lol, yes it’s what she said.
I won’t be using any of that harsh stuff on this particular set because I already tried it on the 71 which needed it but then the set didn’t match. Luckily I found another MS 65 quality 71 with the same natural toning :-)
MS70 is generally my go-to for when something needs to be removed from a silver coin.
