Water-Stained Peace Dollars

Why is it that peace dollars seem to exhibit so many water stains? They seem more common on that series than Morgans.

    Iv'e never really noticed water/milk spots on peace dollars before.

    They changed the rinses for planchets. It's also why Peace Dollars rarely tone like Morgans.

    Now that is interesting. Peace dollars to get some ugly toning with waterspots. I have this uggo, for example.
