Swung in an elementary school playground for an hour today. Boy, that wood mulch really turns the coins dark! The top left coin is a Madison dollar, and the jewelry is costume. Still, an OK hunt.

That’s probably more face value than I’ve found all year.
I remember when a small carton of milk from the cafeteria was 25¢ - hence all of the quarters

Wow, I remember when it was a nickel.
I would take a quick hunt like that. What really decreased the amount of change on school playgrounds was when they took the pop and snack machines out of the schools
