Need help in ID'ing 3x5 autograph that is from the mid 1970's

Hello Group.... Can someone help determine who signed this 3x5? It was in a group of other baseball players 3x5 autographs, that was purchased around 1981 via an auction bidding lot. Most of other autographs were from players from the 1960's-1978 per research. Thank you.

    Doubt it is a baseball player but the last word is definitely "Stanford" so maybe start researching Stanford U athletics of the era.

    Thank you for the input, and I will look into the "Stanford" option.

    But in order to solve this name mystery... I'm willing to pay $100 to the first person that can ID the whole name.

    Robert Latham. Is in US Rugby Hall Of Fame. Attended Stanford Univ.
