Interesting news I thought I would pass on to the forum. Apparently 53 Double Dies have been identified in the 2023 Nickels:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mQ-pPjWOhEw
The DD's are detailed here:

I have a surplus of 2023 nickels, I better get to hunting.

So, there are 53 nearly imaginary 2023 double dies.
Like Shania Twain, "That don't impress me much".

I can't even look thru all the images of these. My brain is hurting already.

Too much, stuff; for me, but should keep the roll searchers busy.

Never a slave to one plastic brand will I ever be.
That guy really thinks these are interesting enough to have demand? Horse hockey. There are more obvious DD's that have virtually no interest in them. And 53 varieties of the same year?
I don't remember anyone saying these would be worth a lot.
There are a few that are decent though, like DDR30:

I did not think DDO or DDR were possible anymore due to the single squeeze press hubs. 🤔

Isn't this some form of die wear or machine doubling? Where's the top of the underlying L? As much as the lower segment is shown to have moved up, there should be quite a chunk sticking out at the top of the L. And see how flared-out looking the inside of the loop on the P is and there nothing of the underlying P above the P.
Just an observation.

Regardless of what has been published, most of the examples I looked at on this list look to be caused by die deterioration or strike doubling. I didn't care to take the time to look at every one, but this list looks very fishy to me.

He says in the video that he thinks they are significant and they represented an opportunity for CRH. While that didn't mean they will be worth hundreds, he does seen to imply they are going to be with more than 10 cents.
These single-squeeze "doubled dies" are so infinitesimal and so not worth anything I don't know why we even bother with them.
He's up to 63 now. Most of these are very insignifigent and too minor to search for.
