What should I do with this coin? All advice welcome. Thank you. Is this doubling on the mouth? Also the obverse looks like it frost on it.

die deterioration doubling, perhaps. Color looks normal. They oxidize that way sometimes.
Spendable
Thank you for the advice. It's Uncirculated, do you think it's worth grading?
Not worth grading unless you can get MS68 or higher, and I don't see that on this coin.

Nice coin. It will look better after a couple days in solvent.
It looks like a solid MS-65 which isn't extremely unusual for the date. It's better than 85% of mint set coins and 97%+ of coins made for circulation. Most of the signs suggest it's a mint set coin but it's a tough call because of obverse die wear. Probably mint set. The nice solid strike says mint set.
It's no variety I recognize.
It came for mint set that I received that was missing the Kennedy Half. So I removed it from the cello and took the picture. At a 65 would it be worth sending out for grading?
I know that a 68 would be worth a couple of grand. I'm not sure how quick it falls off.
If you know what it is worth in 68 why didn't you look at what it is worth in 67 or 65 which is the likely grade if submitted.

I'm just nervous about sending out a coin I guess. I have a little over 6k coins in my collection, I have yet to send one out for grading. Thank you for the advice.
On the contrary, Google is not your friend.
Wow that's the current red book. I next purchase is going to be a new Red Book. Thank you.
