CACG Submissions at the Nashville Show

I recognize in theory this should not be posted on this forum, but it appears that over time, that some various topic posts about NGC and ANACS, and even CACG have appeared (since they're coin related), so I'll provide this information. If the hosts choose to close or delete it, I understand, and there's no reason for any of us to be upset.
CAC Grading is Going to IMEX
10/13/23
The International Money Show (IMEX) is just a few weeks away in Nashville, TN, and CAC will be there in full force.
This is the first show we are attending where we will be accepting submissions. To make sure the process of submitting is as smooth as possible, please review the following points:
1.We will only be accepting submissions for grading services, NOT STICKERING.
2.We will only be accepting submissions in the Express and Premium tiers; however, there will be no limit on the number of coins that may be submitted.
3.If you plan to submit at the show, please fill out the submission forms found in the CACG portal prior to your arrival. Doing so will greatly speed up this process.
4.We will only be accepting submissions from our existing members. If you are not a member but would like to submit, please review the show roster (www.imex.show) and our website for authorized dealer members who can submit on your behalf.
5.Submissions will not be graded on-site. Rather, they will be returned to the CAC Grading office in Virginia Beach and processed as though we received them through the mail.
6.There will be no show discounts, so the prices found on our website will apply. Coins submitted through the show will not feature a special label.

Nothing is as expensive as free money.
You are right. This should not be posted on this forum.
4.We will only be accepting submissions from our existing members
I thought cacg didn’t have a membership, and that everyone could submit? I’m not sure why that company tries to make things confusing for everyone, but they seem to succeed with that premise consistently.
Since when has that stopped a lot of us?![:D :D](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/lol.png)
Just to make sure the above quote is not taken out of context by others, here's the full sentence:

JA is in no hurry to expand his membership. Until auction results show CACG brings better results than PCGS CAC coins there should be no rush. I predict that CACG coins will be a niche player for a while. Afterall...who wants their raw coins or crack outs returning details or 2 grades lower? Once the NGC legacy coins dry up JA will move to his wait list...then accept applications for a new wait list.
CACG wants to play for reduced supply to drive demand and build cache. Let the plebes feed from the trough of NGC and ANACS. Thank the lord our host has an open-door policy to high quality grading.
CACG started accepting submissions from all existing members in early OCT. Prior to that date, I believe that they were in "soft launch" mode, and only accepted grading submissions from a select group. Reference
As I understand it:
~ you have to be a member to submit for stickering, or grading;
~ there is one membership - it covers stickering, and grading;
~ membership is free;
~ and, CAC is not currently accepting new members.^
^ - IIRC, I have seen some recent posts about CAC starting to working through their membership waitlist.
Edited.
As @MetroD said near the bottom of his reply above, I also heard that they plan on opening a bunch of spots from their Waiting List by the end of this year - MAYBE 180 or spots.

Even though it is a forum managed by PCGS, I still like to know what’s going on with CACG.
I don’t plan on using them or intentionally seeking their holdered coins, as I’m very content with our host’s product. But it’s still coin information.
Super disappointed they’re not taking sticker submissions 🙄
BHNC #248 … 130 and counting.
Now why did you have to do that… 😂

It would require them to ship accepted pieces to two locations - NJ vs. VA?

Lol…ok?
They really just don’t want folks getting stickers and instead getting them encapsulated. Smart by them but I don’t plan on ever using that service

Here I am, but I'm not sure why I was paged! I'd get why our hosts might feel this is marketing for a competitor and want to delete it (as did the OP), but I don't get why anyone would think I would care one way or the other.
It's additional information about the show that might be relevant to anyone attending or thinking about attending, so I get why anyone seeking to promote the show would want to share it. I have nothing against the show, and wish them nothing but success. I just thought it was odd that the promoters were refusing to share a dealer list, and they fixed that, so I'm good, as I stated in at least one earlier post.
I think anyone who is a CAC member is probably aware of the opportunity to submit at IMEX and those of who aren’t (because the waitlist has reached the point of absurdity) can’t submit and therefore don’t care.
But Carry On.
Will PCGS offer a special label for IMEX? I really enjoy the PCGS ANA show special labels.
