!976 Olympic coins

I am trying to find the best venue to sell 8 $5.00 dollar silver coins and 8 $10.00 silver coins. These are encapsulated silver coins. james

    these were widely hated for a long time and melted heavily , that being said maybe things have turned around .
    some designs are better than others maybe a list would help

    often seen in small 4 coin sets 2 of each size in a wood box 8 would imply 4 sets of 2 each?

    These coins were part of a 7 set (4 coins each sport). I have the first 4 sets. I believe they are around 16 ounces of pure silver. Come in a brown case. james

    the 5 dollar coins are .72 oz each the $10 coins are 1.44 oz each

    i see apmex selling 4 coin sets for $121

    I sold a near complete set (24 of 28) for spot last month. They were BU coins, some had spots or ugly toning. Bought them when spot was about $20, sold at about $23.

    Still lot's of them around. Unless absolute gems, not worth much more then spot.

    they are a product of their time unfortunately
    sparse designs that didnt age well

    although later canadian olympic coins if anything were worse :D
