Is this 1943 S Steel Penny Real?

    Don’t see any reason it would not be real.
    It has a die chip on the S mm, other than that looks good.
    It may be plated but would need to see a photo of the edge to say for sure.
    Also please do not use screen shots, they are too pixilated to see fine detail

    It appears to be a genuine wartime steel cent that has been plated. ;)

    It may be damage on the S with metal movement more than a die chip.

    It looks like a genuine steel. The finish is questionable too, possibly it has been plated.
