Height of Engraving at the Mexican Mint

Though there is an auction house I would prefer to avoid, it unfortunately auctions material that is important for my collection.
How exciting to see a Gil medal that I knew well, but had not yet seen available. Lucky me, the estimate was below my opinion. Unlucky me, someone else must have had the same idea.
Anyway, the attached image is of a proclamation medal issued on behalf of the Royal and Pontifical University of Mexico. A biography of Geronimo Gil notes that a copperplate engraving appears on a 1790 pamphlet. It describes medals of Gil, such as this one as "magnificent;" a medal of "elegance and taste."

    Yes, but at quite a premium. One of the few times I bid on something I really, really want!
