I chose Fugio because it’s closer to the birth of our nation.

Both are great example though.
My favorite is Philadelphia mint actual federal coins from the 1790s

Both are important but I chose the pine tree shilling, because it is the first the colonists ever used.

The Pine Tree is older. Therefore it has more history behind it. Therefore it is "more historic".
