Coins coffee & Conversation show report. Hobbies not dead…

Despite incredible heavy rain…the 2nd boutique dealer invite show in Westchester NYtirned out pretty good!!

This is by no means a large show rather it’s just a dozen different dealers that get invited to take a table and their even is a dress code suggested for dealers to wear a sport jacket. No mustard stained tshirts here. Here was a sneak pic before it opened. Show is held at the Sheraton Hotel

Maybe it’s old school but certainly was refreshing and is more family friendly and geared to a crowd of collectors who are looking for something a little nicer than your average show.

Least to me was the sheer number of young numismatic who came to see coins and exhibits and have fun

The show is very well run with armed security and even lunch was provided for the dealers!

Not sure of the 2024 schedule but well worth stopping in Coin dealers were a really cool mix. Dealers with low end raw
Material to high end certified, bullion. Paper money even a dealer with Pokémon and Disney dollars

Shout out to Westchester County Coin Club for helping out, Jack and Terry Mattes for their YN program and hand outs and Chris Imperato for all his support and Instagram posts

Nice report, and I agree that the hobby is NOT dead. What a great sight to see kids ecouraged about learning our hobby. Just awesome!
