Need opinions on a 1909 Cent

I need opinions on this 1909 Cent. I don't collect Indians but found this one cheap at a LCS. I was wondering if it was worth sending in to our hosts. It is very shiny, not sure if it has been cleaned or not. So I guess the questions that I need answered are 1) do you think it has been cleaned? and 2) do you think it would grade as Mint State?

I am not a copper collector so my opinion isn't going to be worth a lot but this one just looks off to me. I feel like it's been cleaned in one manner or another. So my non-copper collector opinion would be AU details, surfaces altered.
I agree with TurtleCat, that coin looks off but maybe its the lighting of the photo. What does it weigh?
It could be your lighting, but that does not look like original color. If the image is at all accurate with respect to the coin in-hand then the coin is a problem coin that will not straight grade and is not worth the cost of certification.

Appears cleaned from those images.

The date looks wrong. Suspected counterfeit?

The coin looks genuine, but the color, unnatural. And I agree with @TomB that it’s not worth the cost of certification.

Cleaned in my opinion but definitely great for an album.

I think that if you submit this coin you are almost certainly going to get it back in a details holder or bodybag, if the coin looks like the color in your photos it has been messed with.

The coin has been cleaned. Put it in an album .
Speaking of albums. . . The OP's Indian looks like it was the cover photo coin!

The color looks off to me, so I'm pretty sure it has been cleaned.
OP, any chance for a photo in different lighting?
I agree with most everyone else, but perhaps it’s just the photos?
I looks dead in those pictures. I agree we need to see how the light is reacting.
As others have noted, lighting can make all the difference. That being said, take a look at CoinFacts… This coin has a distinctly “non-copper” appearance…
It looks counterfeit to me.![:s :s](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/confounded.png)
