I wouldn't buy many Morgan's with fingerprints on them but I liked the way this one looked. It does have PL fields. If it were dipped it might PL but I like it the way it is.

This 1889-CC MS62 is my favorite. In my opinion it is under graded and holds it's own against my MS64's with it's PL fields and rather strong strike.

There's a big enough price jump to warrant a reconsideration, but I'm sure you are certainly already aware of that. :)

I used to love my nice satiny high grade morgans or a nice PL....but this one ruined me for business strike morgans. Now it has to be proofs....

    >

Wow, would love to see that in hand. I assume that one is graded?

Thanks-I thought it looked pretty clean for a 64. And, it’s in an old blue holder.

I’m working on a DATE set, still needing four. I really like this one, since for a 65+, I think it looks pretty good.

Me too but I only have 10, so I’m not even halfway there yet.

    Your ‘93 looks beautiful.

I know the OP only wanted 1 favorite, but I have three. Sorry

This piece has been stable for the last 40 years of ownership.

Bought this from Bill Fivaz also 40+ years ago. At the time only 25+/- known.
    Now about 100 known.

My wife bought this for me several years ago. Showed it to a PCGS grader
at the Denver ANA 2007. He said to leave it alone, thought it was only a 62.
Showed to an NGC grader and same response. I know it's hard to give any
opinion from a pic, but what am I missing? @blu62vette took these images.
Did a most excellent job. Every bit as good or better TruVues by our host

This 1895-S was part of a two-coin 'gamble' back in 2007 that included a raw EF40 1846-O tall date half dollar. The 46-O TD half looks like it should straight-grade. This coin, I don't know, as it has a broken-up luster pattern with small hairlines and scuffs left by, perhaps a toothpick. I suspect a past cleaning or wiping of some sort. I'll have to show it to someone who knows Morgans and grading. This will show up on the BS&T board someday after proper evaluation as this has become potentially quite valuable depending upon its grade. Feel free to assign a grade and comment. I grade it at EF45 based upon PCGS Photograde.

This coin was originally housed in an old ANACS holder graded ms63. Cracked it out and it came back a 63+. It’s a very nice coin
