C'mon PSA

How does this get approved with all the checks and balances it takes before it is shipped? I mean a simple error like this should have been caught. It is not even remotely close, not even his middle name. Now it is on me to try to get a hold of someone at PSA to correct their error this, but no one there responds to emails anymore and if I don't call the 1-800 number by 10:01 pacific time, I'm S,O.L.

I don’t understand how that’s even possible. I thought they used some kind of drop down menu, so that if the card number were correct, everything else was automatic.

QA is non existent, the QA levels are for their photos. Not grade quality or label correctness.

I think the descendants of Leroy Anton might be surprised to see that he was still playing professional baseball in 1961. 😉

Kind of intriguingly interesting that both players sort of look alike, and both cards are of California baseball teams. 🤔

oh boy, that is unfortunate. I hope PSA takes good care of you. I would hope a couple of free grading vouchers come your way for your trouble.

Thanks, but I would be happy with free shipping to and from PSA to correct the error. Trying to get through to somebody is a royal pain.

Isn’t this what the Customer Request Center is for? Fill out a Label Correction request, provide pictures, and I’ve heard that PSA covers all costs including shipping. Still an avoidable mistake, but you shouldn’t have to call or email.

The response can be slow but this process works to correct these types of errors.

Yes they do. I’ve had a couple issues this year and they took care of it all.

This is the way to go.

Thank you very much. I did not know about this service. This is why I am grateful to the members of this board. Had you not informed me of this I would still be trying to call them.

That is good news and a decent turn-around time.
Even on an inexpensive card it is good they took their error seriously.

    Rebirth. Renewal. Transformation.
