Any One buy off Face Book Market Place? This morning's 1873-CC Trade$:

Owner swore it was genuine and he was the 2010 Heritage auction buyer (gen images courtesy Heritage). I guess he packed up after I showed him the comparison images...

    And like many of them the bar code scans as an 1893-S Morgan...

    What got you onto the coin as it would fool some collectors? The barcode does not match the cert number. The CC are wrong for any of the 73CC TD's, and some of the details are off. One interesting item is that the plastic holder was made up to look like it traveled in a lot of dealer cases.

    Great work. Attempting to defraud others like this should be a felony that is pursued aggressively. Not sure why the FBI or some agency doesn't crack down on counterfeiters. This will never stop unless folks are punished severely. Would think it wouldn't have been too hard to arrange a meeting with the crook.
