Gold proofs have been on fire for a while, even relatively late date ones!
Back in 2007, I watched a 1862 PCGS PF65 DCAM Double Eagle sale for $240k. If that coin hit the market today I would almost guarantee it would be a $1M+ coin now!

DCAM are scarce for a lot of those dates.

That is so, so true. Actual mintage was 35, with probably less than 10 available ( for regular, CAM, and DCAM) and some of them tied up in museums, etc. And then being a Civil War issue where even the circulating strikes are rare and expensive!
That is one beautiful coin and it is still a top Pop 1/0, for both PCGS and CAC.! When it eventually sells I’ll bet it’ll do some record breaking on it’s own!👍
