    A class act. I so remember his World Series play. He seemed to and did catch everything near him if memory serves. A great ambassador for the game. We need more of them. RIP Mr. Robinson.

    RIP. I got a chance to chat with him once. He was very friendly and generous with his time.

    Another childhood hero gone. As I am approaching this age, not too many are still around. I’m sure my parents felt the same way as the movie stars of the 40’s passed. How old am I? My father would have turned 100 this year.

    I guess to paraphrase that red/blue tunic fairy from Zelda Link's Awakening DX...if you want offense, choose Mike Schmidt. If you want defense, choose Brooks Robinson.
