Intriguing thread.
Here are some colorful copper coins in my collection. I do like the variety of looks copper coins can have.
P.S. I have a 1967 Lincoln cent that I pulled out of circulation in the late 1960's as a YN. I call it "Smoke On The Water" as a tribute to its "Deep Purple" color. I included that cent in a recent submission to PCGS and will post the Trueview photo of that coin when it is available.
I really like the "staircase" positioning of the date.

Nice! I wanted that coin but backed off because it was graded RED. I think my 66RB may actually be redder. Jealous kinda though since yours is so beautiful.
Here’s mine:
And a toner from the same set that is still the best I’ve ever seen:

Great looking coin!
A 25D with some planchet woodie streaks.
I made a video a while ago as a fun little project to figure out how video editing stuff worked. Anyways, I liked matte proof Lincolns at the time, so I made a compilation of pictures of colorful (or otherwise good-looking) MPLs I found on CoinFacts. None of the coins are mine - in fact, some belong to members of this forum. If I remember correctly (I haven't been doing as much coin stuff the past few months), these coins were initially sold in packages made of a type of tissue paper that contained a high concentration of sulfur. This caused many coins to obtain unique colors after being exposed to sulfur fumes for long periods of time.
