That's not quite the correct coin - it's definitely Holy Roman Emperor Maximilian II, but the coat of arms and reverse inscriptions are different, so it's from a different city-state.
It's also not a 2 kreuzer / half batzen. I think the number written inside the Imperial orb on the eagle's chest might be "24", not "2", which would indicate this coin is a 1/24th thaler, or groschen.
I couldn't find a match just by Googling. I'll have to go look up some actual books.
