Undergraded cc Morgan possibly?
![Snowwoman23](https://us.v-cdn.net/6027503/uploads/userpics/GYDW5JJFKVZT/n14WI3LFIWCGN.jpg)
I have an 1883 cc Morgan that I feel may have been undergraded but I haven't committed to sending it in. I bought it in this slab and really am anxious about cracking it out. May I get honest opinions on if the grade looks solid?

Your pictures aren't adequate to grade from. After looking at the photos on the NGC cert verification I think you stand a good chance at an even cross at MS62 at PCGS. I also don't think you need to crack it out. The only reason would be to save the 1% GP fee for a crackout vs raw grade, but you can guarantee yourself that you don't end up with an MS61 (I don't think it would downgrade but there's a chance). I'll give you these odds:
10% MS61
80% MS62
10% MS63
JMHO.

It's a pretty coin - just appreciate it as is and forget about playing the crackout game.
Even if there were an excellent chance that the grade would go from a 62 to a 63, the likely difference in value doesn’t justify the cost of a regrade.

Might (MIGHT!) be a point low, but like Mr. Feld just said, spreads don't justify playing the game with it.

I really appreciate all of your input. I am buying another 1883 cc that I will have in hand Tuesday when I get paid that is with an old anacs photo cert and is graded ms 65/67 I will share pics when I pick it up from the gentleman
Spread between a 62 and 63 is $35. The one you have looks very nice for the grade.
Thank you
It's nice for a 62. I'd leave it as is.
Thank you
Have you considered submitting your coin to CAC?
If your coin gets a CAC green sticker, that means it's solid or high-end for the grade.
Rarely, a coin gets a gold sticker -- which means it's solid or high-end for the next highest grade.

That would almost certainly be a waste of money. It’s extremely unlikely that the coin would receive a gold sticker, and the postage and submission fee would exceed any added value from a potential green sticker.

That's something I hadn't thought of honestly I'll look into it
I would not waste my time or money.... Difference in price between a 2 and 3 is negligible.![:) :)](https://forums.collectors.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
leave as is.

vegas, baby!
Thank you
Looks right at a 62
Love to see that. I have quite the collection of ANACS photo certs, nearly an entire US type set. Minus some gold and a few other types. Here is my CC with a photo cert.
Beautiful cc love these coins so much
Agree. Too much chatter for 63 imo.
The massive hit in the field to the left of Liberty’s neck is the limiting grade factor on this coin.
It’s a nice 62
