Has anyone here been charged twice for eBay items this week?

I’ve had two separate buyers reach out to me via eBay messaging about being charged twice for items the purchased. Both were inexpensive.
The first buyer said one of the charges only showed pending but the other said they were charged twice.
In both cases I suggested they contact eBay if it didn’t resolve quickly and that the payments are handled by eBay.

Not a seller on eBay often, but I’ve had this happen. Generally it’s a pending charge and a person thinks payment did not go through so they try again. eBay sorts it out in my experience, and only one charge is done. Your suggestion is right to contact eBay. Was it a payment through eBay?

Once in a while I get two pending charges for something, it's a glitch by my bank i think. One always disappears once the charge processes.

Both were through ebay managed payments. That's pretty much the standard now. I haven't heard back from either, so I assume it's been resolved. But, it was weird that it happened twice within a few days.
