Half design comes from the WWII victory medal.

The three coin proof set was $836.25 when I bought it and is now $909.75, up 8.7%. I am glad I bought it when I did. Mine arrived last Monday, April 8th.

    First Strike cutoff date announced.

If I’m thinking right, when I asked at a show. They told me that if the box is still sealed from the original mint shipment and they open it, they will process as First Strike without any issues for somewhere around up to 3 years or so.

I have taken a few sealed boxes to shows that were almost 2 years from release and I did not have an issue.

Here's mine. The obverse is designed by Thomas Hudson Jones.

It was reissued by the US Mint in 1995:

    Can't complain about these grades.

Anyone else send some GG Commemoratives to PCGS?

PCGS received my Modern Value submission on April 23rd and shipped it on May 6th.....that's 9 business days.

Wish the other service levels were as fast.

    Good luck on your submission.

We are only halfway through May and every coin in both programs are now showing limited availability. Sales have been absolutely dismal for both programs.
