I'm gonna go with Sandberg but won't be surprised if baseball geek stat guys come in and say Kent followed by the good Ole "It's not even close" comment 😄😄😄

I will take Ryno. I remember of him being considered a very good defender. also, good on the basepaths.

George Brett, Roger Clemens and Tommy Brady.

The baseball geek aspect is what gives the edge to Sandberg. Looking at the raw numbers and Kent's 1,518 RBI they are more in line with an old school approach that would lean toward Kent.

Sandberg wins here, but Kent is criminally underrated. A lifetime 123 OPS+ and the raw 1,500 RBI for a second baseman should have landed him in the Hall a while ago.

Very close. I see a virtual tie on offense (I could make a good argument either way) and Sandberg as better defensively.

This is for you @thisistheshow - Jim Rice was actually a pretty good player.

Why isn't Kent in the hall?

Probably because he was friends with Bonds

Wisconsin 2-6 against the SEC since 2007
