I was about to write that I haven't picked up any new Morgan dollars in a while, but then I forgot about the 2023's I ordered from the Mint. Not sure how I feel about them with respect to the original run of dollars.
This one below is a classic, the date to get if you're collecting type coins for its strike, luster, affordability and availability in high grades. But since I collect the series rather seriously, I decided to go all in on this one. I'm still one coin away from the complete set of Morgans (the 1893-S) and so I infrequently upgrade a few pieces when the right coin comes around. The right coin came around for me. Feel free to comment and GTG on this beauty...

Very nice look, much better than the psychedelic bag toning (IMO). I do see some hits here and there, my first guess is a solid 67, but you said you went "all in" so it's probably higher. I'll stick with 67 though.

I think the color may have bumped it. It really is a wonderful coin!

I’ll guess MS67+. A few too many ticks on the face and right field for a 68 but I think it’s a very nice Morgan and I like it!
Edited to add:
I just looked at a bunch of TrueViews for 67+ and 68. 68s often show more hits than this so a 68 wouldn’t surprise me at all.
