Just about the worst possible photography. Probably struck thru.
Would the date be missing like that on a strike thru? And with no reverse picks pics you can't tell if it's just damage.

Excellent point Steven!! Before I posted this I contacted the seller. He said he'll post pictures of the rev. tomorrow.

Looking at the listing on eBay it appears struck-thru as the seller states. The photography is pretty bad but in my opinion it's making the error more pronounced than it would appear in hand.
The seller posted some pics of the reverse.

Based on the photos, I’d say it’s a struck- thru error

It's authentic in my opinion--struck thru.
