I’m voting a worn Small S.
See how the top serif is short of the body.
On the Large S the serif extends to the front of the body.
Oakstar, you may want to change your thread title to 1928 S Mercury.
Shoot, I knew that!! Thanks! 🤣

Yea, I've followed you enough that I knew you just made a simple mistake. A rare thing with you.
Let me tell you Tom.. I've gone back and read some of the stuff I've written here. I think I'm dyslexic. 🤣 😂 Most of the member here can translate what I'm trying to say. 😂

There's about a dozen members on the forum that I follow pretty closely. You sir are one of them. I've never had a problem understanding your meaning. Hell, maybe I'm dyslexic too.
Don't follow me to close, we may both go off the cliff together! 😂 🤣

The small S looks like the ones that are on some of those fake 1909S VDB cents.
"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
So you're saying this S:
Looks like this S?

Your coin is the small S.
Just look at the picture of the SMALL S you posted. The conclusion is obvious.
"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
