Stuck roll of US coil stamps

Have a very well stuck roll of 100 of the old lick and stick stamps.
Any good way to unstick them?
I tried both hot and cold water to try to soak them but the results were bad.

Soak in warm water until the gum disperses. Don't peel away the stamps. They'll float apart when ready.

Not working with these. They are really stuck. Hard as a rock.

Submerging in warm water for an hour doesn't loosen even the outside layer? 🤔

Warm water should have worked. Something else may have contaminated the roll.
