1982-D Lincoln Small Date Cents - Box of 'Test Coins?'

Edited: Pardon me barging in as a new member without saying 'Hey!' "So 'Hey,' new member here trying to learn about some coins my wife inherited."

Any thoughts on what to do with these coins? Is there any value?

All heads showing in the rolls are 1982-D coins. I opened one roll out of the box and they are all 1982-D's. My take is that they are so-called 'small date zinc' - and they weigh 2.5 grams. They seem uncirculated but I know very little about coins. Are they worth trying to sell?

Thanks!

Looks like the rolls are selling for about $12 a piece on eBay:

I agree - eBay will probably be your best bet to sell them. Newer uncirculated rolls usually do pretty good well on there.

"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"

  • Thank you @IkesT and @Steven59 - I appreciate the responses. I suppose I need to consider at least some of the obvious places before I go asking for help.

Just adding , weigh each one. You never know, a 3.1 would make your day.
