When 9-11 happened I was then in the safest place in the world, a little village in southern Ukraine. Protected by little old ladies that had outlasted Hitler, Stalin etc. How times have changed for the worse, now that little village has Russian drones flying over it on their way to bomb Odesa. Some of the people I know are now either treating the wounded or fighting the Russians in Eastern Ukraine.
