If your building a set in PSA 9 or better, or any grade (PSA 8 or better) do you set aside any cards that you own in slabs that are lower or do you insert them in your set as placeholders to upgrade later?

Every card is just a placeholder with the thought that possibly a cheaper, higher graded alternative may just appear out of no where. Sometimes it happens especially with my football Hall of Fame set.

I started a second set. One set is PSA 8 or better. Second set is what used to be placeholders.
