Crusader State era coin. Identity?

My friend’s wife acquired this pendant a while back. She was told at the time it was a ‘Shipwreck’ coin from about 1200AD.
She assumed it was from a Caribbean shipwreck, but looking at it, it likely came from the Med. To me, it looks like a Crusader State coin, but I couldn’t find true match anywhere. I think it may be lettered VEN…., making me wonder about Venice. Of course, it’s jewelry now, and could just be a fake, but it does look pretty authentic. Anyone have any thoughts on this one?

Looks like a Genoa denier, immobilized name of Conrad. A common medieval coin produced for a long period, 12th-14th century.
