We see plenty of 1909-S VDB counterfeits, but here's a 1909-S for a change:

Edit: Both the 1909-s counterfeit and the 1972 DDO counterfeit found by @braddick have been removed by eBay. Thank you for reporting!

We can still use more reports to have both of these counterfeits removed from eBay. Thanks for your help!

    I would presume "reported."

That 1909-S is a horrible counterfeit. The maker of it needs to find a new hobby.

Correct. The post to which I replied “Done” had said:

I've got the Harsche reference to help identify 1909-S LC counterfeit. If you don't have one, get one before it gets impossible to find. Don't be left behind. According to Harsche, there are six distinct 's' positions for authentic 1909-S LC, and the OP coin ain't one of them. Now you know.

Suit yourself. Harsche was a pioneer in identifying die varieties of the 1909-S and 1909-SVDB LC. He listed three dies used for 1909-S VDB when actually there are four. Harsche never saw the 4th one, the scarcest one. In any event, all four 1909 S VDB 's' mintmark positions were used also for 1909-S without VDB. My slabbed as genuine (by PCGS) 1909-S VDB, was a very deceptive, well-done counterfeit made by acid etching a "V.D.B." onto a genuine 1909-S cent from Harsche obverse #die 6 (s far low, far right) a die which was unknown to have been used for genuine mint product 1909-S VDB. Fooled PCGS and fooled me for two years that I had the piece in my possession.
