RIP. He entertained many, many people in his career.
Tonedeaf is a nickname given to me in reference to my guitar playing ability.
I was sort of surprised to hear of his death this morning, but he had a good run, a loyal following and seemed to have enjoyed his life and lived it fully. I saw him around 1990 with Little Feat.
Apologies to any West Coasters....................
"Headin' out to San Francisco
For the Labor Day weekend show
I got my Hush Puppies on
I guess I never was meant for glitter rock 'n' roll
And honey, I didn't know that I'd be missin' you so"
"Come Monday, it'll be alright
Come Monday, I'll be holdin' you tight
I spent four lonely days in a brown L.A haze
And I just want you back by my side"
Bummer!!
Huge fan here.
“Where I go I hope there’s rum!” is one of my slogans.
At one of my favorite dives in Key Marathon:
RIP to one of the GREATS!
I hope that he finally gets his 'Cheeseburger in Paradise'!!
Sometimes, it’s better to be LUCKY than good. 🍀 🍺👍

Loss of a legend.
The trouble with skin cancer is that it happens in places of the body we can't see and travels through the bloodstream to manifest anywhere in the body.
