Is this a FAKE Large Cent?

I don't think it is....in fact I grade it AU55. What do you think..am I wrong?

    I lean to authentic.

    First glance I do think it is cleaned, not original mint red, at least from what I see in the image. There is a series of 1848 counterfeit large cents, but from memory I believe the contemporary counterfeits are a small date. I’m leaning towards genuine.
