Thoughts on this Star Jordan?
I asked if it was trimmed and he said it wasn't. I'm not sure how to tell if it's a 96 reprint. I'm looking to get a Star 101 but I don't want to make another foolish mistake.
Grading seems harsher and I don't feel confident comparing it to existing 7 or 7.5 Star 101s.

I think I'd spend my money on a graded example that I felt comfortable with. No way I'd drop $7k on a raw card. But that's just me.

I would prefer to see it in person before buying because one would think you would either grade it first or maybe it's been cracked out of a slap with a 5.5 or lower.
ebay items are much more impressive when this added on fluffy buttercup stuff is gone.. Agree ?
"The card is in excellent condition, with no markings or damage. It is a standard size trading card and has the iconic image of Jordan in his Bulls uniform. The card has been stored well and is a vintage piece from 1985. This is a great addition to any collectio. See ic. n and a must-have for any fan of the NBA or Michael Jordan".
is just simply
1985 Star #101 Michael Jordan Rookie. See pics, Judge it, ask if questions, returns accepted. (explain defects here)
Very low resolution pics are intentional. Lets hide something.
If this were me I would pass.
1948-76 Topps FB Sets
FB & BB HOF Player sets
1948-1993 NY Yankee Team Sets
No reason not to have the graded if it’s real.
Kiss me twice.....let's party.
The fluffy crap is the new AI generated descriptions. I used a couple and modified them but I really think it's garbage.
The blurry photos also made me think it was probably intentional. For $7k then borrow an iphone...everyone but me seems to have one these days.
I'd totally pull the trigger on that... Will pair nicely with your first Jordan cover 1981 beckett magz!
Roofy, I'm sure glad I could make your day. A few more zingers and you just might pop!
