Unethical stamp auction company

I I won some lots with no other bidders, yet I was billed with my max bids. When auction closed, some of my bid were no where near my max bid.

    It’s major company kelleher, I bid at around 10 companies, never heard of such practice.

    Tried for years to get on their mailing list for catalogs and their quarterly magazine. Gave up.
    I don't trust any auction houses. Just my opinion.

    Is it possible that there were reserves and they bumped your bid to the reserve? I'm not sure if that's a policy anywhere or even legit, but that's just an idea.

    I've had nothing but good experience with them. Have you called them to discuss?
