I have his 1879 and 1914 liberty nickels, did he ever make any other Liberty nickels?

Did he ever make anything with a 50c Capped Bust?

But apparently they're held by long-term collectors -- I haven't seen one for sale awhile.

I sold one a little while ago off of BS&T. You're right, those coins are in strong hands.

I have most of the strongly held ones including the 1816, but the 1927 Oregon has been elusive.

Yes, you need to get one of those 1927 Oregon halves that look to be matte in their presentation and my favorite (like it better than the larger Oregon he did).
