    Nice!
Assuming the darker areas are just shadows and lighting issues, 64 RD.

The darker areas surrounding UNITED on the obverse, and on the reverse around much of ONE CENT and from 3:00 to 6:00, lead me to MS64RB.

This is one of those coins that was really hard to try and capture the true look. It didn't help that the coin is tilted in the holder. The coin is graded 64RD and I believe the grade to be accurate.

When you first see the coin it looks gem to superb gem. Glowing luster with a fresh orange red color. It just has too many marks to grade higher. This is actually the type of coin I seek out. I have acquired quite a few over the years. When you look without a glass you say wow. Once you put a glass to them you understand the grade. To me this is where you can get tremendous value.

Any one else seek these type of coins?

Looks like most the guesses were spot on.

I feel the luster rules out code 91.

While I do like the look of the MS64 Red IHC, I’ve decided to go in a different direction. One of my newer goals in to put the collection together in a MS 65 RB or better grade. Some examples so far:
