Ebay global shipping program? How long do packages tend to be at the hub?

I have made a few purchases I live in Canada they items are from the USA. I have not used this service in a long time. How long do packages tend to stay at the main shipping hub before they move along with a new tracking number that gets updated threw Ebay?
The seller ships the package to the hub were it is inspected then they ship it to me.
I have a package that says delivered to the US shipping hub as of August 21st but nothing after that.
Expected delivery is August 29th to September 6th.
Interest: Latin American history with an emphasis on colonial Mexico & Peru
Sports: NHL & NFL

Packages use to go to Kentucky now they seem to go to Illinois.

eBay's International Shipping hub in Illinois continues to experience long delays for inspection and processing, with some buyers and sellers reporting no movement on tracking for 2 - 3 weeks.
