New Cherrypicker's variety: 1930 Standing Liberty 25c, FS-401, "Incomplete shield"

This is a new variety just listed in the newly released CPG. The shield is missing or incomplete below ER in Liberty. The outer portion of the shield has been eliminated due to heavy die polishing by Mint employees. The rivots are now exposed into the fields where normally the Shield edge would enclose the rivots. You can also see an "E" from a clashed die below Liberty's left knee. I took a few close ups of one from my collection, enjoy!

That is a cool one.
I like it!
Cool, do you think this might be one of those? I literally just went to eBay after looking at this thread and searched 1930 standing Liberty Quarter and it was the first hit with less than 2 minutes to go in the auction, so I bid on it and won just in case it was the new variety. Am I rich yet 🧐😉

Super cool that you found one in your own collection!
Grade on the coin and uptick for the value?
I played with the contrast and brightness, I can see the E next to the knee

Mine didn't have it, but its still pretty nice!
Here’s a couple more on eBay right now if someone wants one, they are in bad shape though. The first seller noted the clashed E, too bad the coin was harshly polished

This one isn’t quite as bad looking, but price might be high

Mine is a PCGS MS63FH, not sure of the value,
Looks like one to me.
So how desirable and identifiable is this is V/EDS?
Here is one.

Do you have any other date/mms with incomplete shields? The CPG said there are more in the series like this (similar to 2 feather buffalos).
