This picture shows how awesome he was. The Raiders had one guy hold him up while another guy went for his knees. After a while he’d get sick of it and start paybacks, thus Mean Joe.
This picture shows how they filmed the bottle scenes in a great show. Has nothing to do with football but thought some would enjoy.
How I always wanted to be trapped in there with her. 😉

Pittsburgh headline when he was drafted
“Joe Who?”
"I spent 50% of my money on alcohol, women, and gambling. The other half I wasted.
The brilliance of Chuck Knoll who used his first ever pick with the Steelers at #4 to take someone who played at a small college.
Knoll built a horrible Steelers team into a dynasty from the draft.
Very underrated football mind.

Yo Landry, ya gotta help me out on that Cowboy dude there...
Hall Of Famer Charles Haley.
Thanks dude... my mind is like mashed potatoes right now...
Reggie White is my all-time favorite, he had this move called the "hump" move, he would just throw you to the side like a rag doll, and there was little to nothing you could do about it because he was so powerful, here he is using the hump to manhandle Larry Allen.
I recall Bruce Smith was "pretty good" ..........
"When they can't find anything wrong with you, they create it!"
I'm probably going with Alan Page
Tombstone another Bad Dude...

You are correct, not a fan of the towel but much respect. I really like coach Tomlin, he's old school no nonsense.
