My mother was given this coin back in the early 70's by an actor who gave it as a tip at the restaurant she was working at. He said it was "worth more than a tip". It is of course fake. But I'm wondering, does it have a real world counterpart? I think it's Greek, possibly a tetradrachm? Antonius Pius? Any help would be appreciated.
Prost!
Why step over the dollar to get to the cent? Because it's a 55DDO.

You're welcome.
If it was real, in the condition as shown, maybe $200 or more. But yeah, yours is sadly fake.
Who was the actor, if I may ask?

Sadly I don’t remember. My mother’s memory at 96 is fading and I’ve been asking several questions over the past few months as I find items from when I was young.
