2022 d mint quarter possible mule error?

I have a quaterter from 2022 d mint where it's a dr. Sally ride quarter and her face and body are messed up from the metal it feels like there is an extra layer of metal on top of the quarter.

    Welcome to the Forum
Not a “ mule error”, please research what one is.
Impossible to have an extra layer of metal, coins are struck from planchets and there is
no way there could be a n extra layer of metal. Your quarter looks like it has some sort of
damage, possibly something has been struck onto the surface two or three times.
Whatever the cause, it could not have happened during the striking of the coin,
which is the only time an error can occur. Value 25 cents.

Looks like damage, but clearer pics with less glare would better help identify what is going on.

    Welcome to the forum! :)

The photo of the reverse is slightly out of focus and has a bit too much glare.
    Better photos would help. ;)

If I had to take a dumb guess I would say it might be glue on the coin.

I am going to second the glue hypothesis.
