While going through some rolls of nickels, trying to complete a nearly finished Whitman set, I got this surprise. I think someone must be out cashing in someone's coin collection.

This makes me sad. It's great for @CaptMorgans and great that the coin found a good home before it circulated further, but to me it means that either someone had a good part f his collection stolen or an heir saw the collection as just money, and not "Hey, I wonder what I can get for this." money but spending money.

Nice find. Every once in a while these do pop up. I had a friend who knew I collected coins give me a few AU- Unc. Indian cents he received back in change from a gas station. You had to figure they were from someone’s collection.

Just went through10 rolls that I
bought from a neighbor for $26. No major find, just 98% BU cents. These rolls are 58d,59,69d,72s,73d, & 74d. I gave away 3 - rolls for Mr Birthday giveaway too.

I forgot thy I had 6 more rolls that I had previously gone through.
