Canadian quarter error

Can anyone tell me about this coin. I read a forum posted back in 2202 claiming there was not a double die reverse quarter. Am I not seeing something? Found it coin roll.hunting and didn't give it a second thought. I almost missed it. Can someone educate me, please? ![](https://us.v-

    Welcome to the forum

Try to avoid screen shots, they are too pixilated.
Your quarter has Machine Doubling, not a Doubled Die.

Yes. It's doubled. No, it's not a doubled die.

There is machine doubling (die fatigue doubling) which is what your coin shows, and then there are doubled dies.

I would suggest searching the forum for doubled die and you will find literally thousands of threads about this and the differences between the two. Here is a quick reference picture to show the difference. In almost all cases, machine doubling is a common occurrence and not worth any numismatic premium. Hope that helps.
